How to Gain Self-Confidence?
Self-confidence is all about how much faith you have in your capabilities and discernment. How much you believe in yourself is significant to how hard you can strive towards your dreams. Self-confidence is good for a person’s mental well being and self-esteem. It can improve your performance and build resilience against failure. A lot of people get discouraged by setbacks but if you trust yourself, you bounce back and move towards your goals. Here is what you can do to boost your self-confidence.
1. Write down your goals
Invest in a diary and write down “ME” on top of it. This will emphasize the work you need to do for yourself. Note down your three main goals and expand on them. For example, if you want to get rich, write it down. Try to understand what being rich means to you and why do you want to get rich. Do your research and find ways to increase your income. This will help you set mini goals and quantify a notion like “richness”. If you are taking up more projects, applying for new projects, clients, write it all down.
2. Work towards your goal every day
Time is very important and you do not have the luxury to let it slip from your hands. Your diary should be a testimony of your accomplishments. Everyday mark it with the one thing you did, which brought you closer to your three goals. If you read a book like Money: Master the Game by Tony Robbins to get financial insights, you have gained concrete knowledge to achieve your goal, which is to become rich. So these mini-milestones will help you achieve your long term ambition. As you accomplish these little targets over time, you will be able to see your progress. These victories will keep you motivated to stay focused on your work.

3. Review your Accomplishments
It will start with your day-to-day goals, which will add up to your overall progress. You can evaluate these accomplishments by the end of every month. So at the end of the month, you will have achieved 30 mini-milestones and you are only closer to your destination. This progress is a marker of how far you have come, and it will make you believe in yourself. If you feel you fell short off the mark, there is always room for improvement through this review. You can add that to the next month. But, most of all, your confidence will boost up significantly and you will find positive ways to improve your life.
Remember just like the title of your diary, this whole exercise revolves around you. You will only be able to gain something out of this if you are focused on yourself. There is no time to judge what others are doing or how far they have reached. Your progress can only be judged by your work, and only you can bring value to yourself.
